ZUSS-20X
Underground Shotcrete Sprayer
ZUSS-20X is a diesel underground shotcrete sprayer for medium-section roadways. The articulated four-wheel-drive carrier supports a hydraulically operated spraying arm and concrete pumping system.
Built around your working task.
Review the model and technical reference together with your application requirements. Provide the tunnel profile, spraying reach, required output and concrete supply arrangement. Include the available power and other site utilities.

Check the current technical sheet against the configuration in the quotation. Dimensions, interfaces and operating requirements should be confirmed before planning the installation.
Separate concrete spraying from concrete transport
ZUSS-20X is an underground shotcrete sprayer with a hydraulic spraying arm and concrete pumping system. Its reference output is 0–20 m³/h. That is an equipment rating, not a promise of installed concrete volume per hour under every site condition.
The spraying task also needs a concrete supply arrangement. If a mixer truck is part of the plan, provide the receiving interface and delivery schedule with the spraying requirements. The ZDCM-5 page covers a separate transport machine; the transfer between the two needs its own review.
Documented construction and equipment
The source reference conditions specify a tunnel section of at least 4 m × 4 m, road gradient no greater than 14°, and ambient temperatures from −5°C to 40°C.
The articulated steering system is listed at a maximum 16 MPa and the vehicle electrical system at 24 V DC. The 100 m cable winding length should be considered when planning the spraying position and power supply.
The spring parking brake acts at the axle and is controlled by a solenoid valve. Service braking uses wet multi-disc brakes.
Review arm reach, vehicle position and utilities
The source gives a 5.2 m maximum spraying distance and 7.3 m maximum arm height. Match those references to the tunnel profile and proposed vehicle position. A maximum reach figure is not a complete coverage drawing for every point of the tunnel surface.
A 45 kW pumping motor and 100 m cable-winding length are listed. Provide the available electrical supply and planned cable route, and request the utility specification for the proposed machine. The document contains inconsistent vehicle heights, so a confirmed dimensional drawing is required for travel-clearance planning.
Define the spraying-equipment inquiry
Include the tunnel section, required reach, concrete supply, utility connections and where the carrier will be positioned. Ask which pumping and spraying accessories are included, with the operating instructions for the offered configuration. Keep transport access and spraying space as separate items on the layout.
The source excludes operation in environments with flammable or explosive gases. Any mine-specific suitability assessment must use the actual operating environment and confirmed equipment configuration. Do not infer explosion protection from the fact that this is underground equipment.
Selection questions
What should I include in a product inquiry?
Provide the tunnel profile, spraying reach, required output and concrete supply arrangement. Include the available power and other site utilities.
Which technical details need confirmation?
Confirm overall height and tank capacities for the selected configuration; the supplied values are ambiguous. The document excludes use in environments with flammable or explosive gases.
How do I request the selected configuration?
Send the model or series reference and your project requirements through the inquiry link. Include drawings or the existing equipment reference where available.
Does maximum arm height define the complete spraying envelope?
No. It is one reference limit. Request the working-envelope drawing and compare it with the tunnel profile and planned vehicle position, together with the maximum spraying-distance reference.
